Nashoba Valley Express Co., Inc., a family owned business, was incorporated in 1982 by Robert H. Hebb Jr.  After graduating from the University of Lowell with a degree in Business Administration, Bob pursed his interest in the transportation industry securing a sales position with a carrier who covered the east coast, mid Atlantic states and the Midwest for a number of years.

When deregulation changed the industry, he decided to start his own company.  He secured the authority and purchased a Mercedes straight truck, a pallet jack and a trailer which served as his first terminal.  With that, Nashoba Valley Express Co., Inc. began picking up and delivering freight.

Over the next few years as the company grew, we leased dock space locally and with customer needs for warehouse space, the warehouse division began.

In 1993, we purchased our current location in Ayer, MA.  The building was updated, offices built, a dock area was added to the existing building and in 1994, the operation was moved to where we are today.  Through the hard work and support of family and dedicated employees, our business continues to grow.
